This Solid Red Oak Celtic Axe carving is made right in the Wild Woodworker workshop. Carved to perfection down to 1/16 of an inch from a solid piece of hardwood.  The intricate details in this design are mesmerizing, to say the least. 
 
I carve a raised rounded edge along the backside to give a more complete look from the front as well as the ability to mount it onto a flat surface and give more depth and shadows to make it really stand out, say a wall, door, or any creative decorative area you have in mind.
 
The Hole at the bottom allows you to use the included elevated display stand by sliding the axe right onto the peg on the stand as displayed in the images.  The Axe will need to be balanced on the round peg and if you are concerned about it tipping over to one side or the other you can always add a drop of super glue and the axe will be displayed in any direction you desire.
 
 
I do offer multiple sizes but refer to the below thicknesses to know how thick the size is you are looking at is.
Thickness: 
1.5 inches Thick for 17 - 35 inches tall
2 inches thick for 40 - 45 inches tall
