Small wooden Curved plaque (1/4 inch thick), Hard Maple wood, Blank plaque
This Small curved plaque is perfectly laser cut, leaving a very smooth cut along the edge. On the top end, I use a 1/8 round over to smooth out the edge. Leaving the bottom edge flat for easy flush placement. The smooth surface of the hard maple does not have any rough grain texture like oak would have to give you a super smooth surface even when there is no finish placed on top.
The curved nature of the plaque means that it can only be oriented in one way with the curve dipping on the left and rising on the right side.
Even Though they are small the hard maple wood feels very durable and high quality (because it is). They are scratch resistant and not soft like pine wood would be.
Finish: You can either get these unfinished or with a Semi-gloss finish for added durability. the semi-gloss finish I use is a professional water-based finish that is highly durable and smooth.
They are great for laser engraving or adhering a label to them as the smooth surface is ideal for mounting using double-sided tape.
