The True Black Finish is the darkest stain you are able to find, so if you are looking for contrast with a lighter item, then you can't get any better than this.
The Paque is made out of solid Red Oak. This is much more Scratch Resistant than any of the Pinewood options you would find. The grain pattern of the Red oak is very rich, it is soft to the touch with a subtle texture.
Other color options are available and if you would like just a clear coat or an unfinished plaque then those options would make the plaque less expensive.
