We start off with premium red oak, which is free of any voids or knots. We then cut it using a computer-aided machine, placing the 2 keyhole slots in at the same time. Afterward, the 45-degree edging (chamfer) gets cut into the edge.  Then it's off to get a final finish sanding to give you the smoothest surface possible with red oak.  Finally, if you choose, we will put a finish coat of satin clear coat using the most professional spray methods possible, resulting in a clear coat that is as smooth as can be.

The Keyhole slots allow for a perfectly flush mounting position on any flat surface. Perfect for office doors or any professional plaque needs.

The optional clear coat is a water-based No VOC acrylic polyurethane, so you do not have to worry about any chemical smells like there would be in oil-based coatings. 

The included template makes installation a breeze! simply line up the template to where you want the plaque to go using the horizontal and vertical guidelines as reference points. Then simply mark the 2 center holes in the template. Drive in the screws to an appropriate depth so that your plaque slides on snuggly and you are all finished!
