This amazing Leaf box design is modeled after an actual leaf and its vein structure. I wanted to create a natural design that also incorporated the loving nature this box will be used with. I then found the perfect leaf to digitize the vein structure.

Modeling this natural leaf design, both the top and bottom can be engraved to create a leaf that opens up to expose your beautiful ring inside.
Key Details
- Material - 2 pieces of 0.75 inches (1.9cm) walnut carved perfectly match together.
- Closing - The ring opening is a friction fit that is very satisfying to close because you can feel the quality (unlike boxes that use magnets to help the box close)
- Hinges - barrel hinges are robust and allow you to hold the box top open in any position. (cheaper hinges just flop open and closed)
- Finish - A Dark Water based Dye stain is used to give the box a deep dark brown color.
- Clear Coats - Choose from either a Satin, Semi-gloss, or gloss finish. All water-based.
