2:3 ratio blank Hard Maple wooden plaque (Unfinished), Flush Mounted
This Plaque has a 2:3 ratio no matter the size you select and it is perfect for displaying any item that will pop with a smooth Light color background. The Unfinished surface of Hard maple is very smooth with zero grain depth which makes other woods like oak feel slightly textured even after sanding.
The Plaque itself is made out of solid Hard Maple and finish sanded to 360 grit, giving a superior smooth finish. The edging is a 1/4 inch round over that is inset 1/8" so the available space to mount anything will be 1/2 inch less in both length and width to accommodate for the decorative edge.
Hard Maple itself is very durable and scratch resistant, making it an excellent wood for the outdoors or any situation where you want it to last a very long time with minimal wear. If placed outside you will still need an exterior sealant to protect the wood fibers from UV light and any moisture. Though as long as it is allowed to dry out fully after getting wet, Hard maple will last forever.

The keyhole slots on the back allow you to flush mount this plaque on any surface with a tight fit. Don't worry about measuring the distance between the 2 slots (Plaques over 32 inches long will have 4 slots for additional support) because this plaque comes with a hard template that will allow you to quickly and accurately mount the plaque.
If you order more than one plaque you will still receive just 1 template because the template is very durable and is able to be used thousands of times before needing a new one.
